SECURITY RULES AND PROCEDURES
SCREENING PROCESS
The Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center has implemented enhanced safety measures for all events held in the venue. The safety of everyone is paramount at each performance.
As of July 1, 2024, guests of the Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center are subject to the inspection of their person, parcels, bags, containers, and clothing capable of carrying prohibited items. Patrons will pass through a security screening of either walking through a metal detector or being security wanded. Items that are subject to inspection include jackets, coats, and bags. Guests using a cane can walk with it through the metal detectors.
CLEAR BAG POLICY
To ensure safety and efficiency, a clear bag policy is in effect at all events and performances and is consistent with industry standards nation-wide. Patrons and guests refusing to abide by the security protocols will be denied entry into the venue.
Approved BagsYou may bring a clear bag (18” x 13” x 4.5") or a small clutch bag (4.5” x 6.5”):
For patrons who are in need of a clear bag, reusable clear bags with the Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center logo will be available for purchase at entry.
Exceptions
Medically necessary items and diaper bags will require thorough bag inspections at the entrance. Wheelchairs and walkers are permitted in designated areas. Any refusal for inspection will be denied entrance into the venue.

You may not bring in any bags that do not follow the clear bag policy:

Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited inside our venue and are cause for removal:
- Weapons of any kind. Concealed or open-carry firearms (including those carried with a permit); knives; pocketknives; tasers; personal protectant spray (including mace or pepper spray).
- Food or beverage. Outside food items or single-use water bottles (empty or full).
- Animals or pets. Only certified service dogs are allowed.
- Tobacco products, E-cigarettes, and Vaping products.
- Balloons (both helium and air filled) and loud noise makers.
- Wrapped presents and packages. Item will need to be unwrapped for inspection.
- Other miscellaneous item(s) deemed inappropriate, dangerous, hazardous, or illegal by the Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center Administrative Staff and/or Yavapai College Campus Police.
Please Note
- Our concession stands and café are open for most events, and serve freshly popped popcorn, candy, water, soft drinks, coffee, beer, and wine.
- Empty, reusable (plastic or metal) Yeti-style water bottles that are 32 fl. oz. or smaller are allowed. Please note the venue has accessible public water fountains on both the main and balcony floors.
Special Accommodations
If you or a member of your party need special assistance in the screening process or require alternative accommodations for security screening, please contact the Ticket Office at least one week prior to the event.

All items are subject to search. All prohibited items will be denied entry. No weapons or dangerous items will be accepted at entrances. The Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center is not responsible for any lost/stolen items or property damage.
Any patron or guest refusing security inspection or being abusive to a member of the PAC staff, volunteer team, or security will be refused entrance and risks being permanently barred from the venue.
For the safety of all patrons, staff and performers, the Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center reserves the right to modify these rules, and/or make policies stricter, as required to accommodate the specific needs of a particular event.
